Getting Started

What is AfterWorn?

AfterWorn is a global marketplace for pre-loved intimate items — panties, lingerie, bras, socks, hosiery, fitness wear, shoes and related pieces. Sellers are verified, listings are moderated, and shipping is fully discreet.

Who can use AfterWorn?

Only adults aged 18 or over (or the age of majority where you live, if higher). AfterWorn is an adult platform and is not available in countries where adult marketplaces are prohibited.

Is it free to sign up?

Yes. Creating an account, browsing and listing items are free. AfterWorn earns a commission on completed sales, and offers optional paid memberships and listing boosts.

Can I be both a buyer and a seller?

Yes. A single account can hold both roles. You may only have one account per person — multiple accounts are not allowed.

Buying

How do I buy an item?

Find a listing, sign in, and select Buy. You will create an order and complete payment at checkout. Your payment is held securely by the Platform until the order is complete.

How do I know a seller is trustworthy?

Check the seller's Trust Score (0–100), verification tier, reviews and whether they hold the Verified Wear badge. These signals help you choose with confidence.

Can I request something custom?

Yes. You can post a custom request and receive offers from sellers, or message a seller about a specific item, wear duration or add-on before ordering.

What if my order never arrives?

Open a dispute. Because your payment is held securely by the Platform, the funds are protected while AfterWorn reviews the case and decides on a fair resolution.

Selling

How do I start selling?

Create an account, complete identity verification to at least Tier 2, then create your first listing with original photos, an honest description, attributes and a price.

What can I sell?

Worn intimate apparel you own and have the right to sell — panties, lingerie, bras, socks, hosiery, fitness wear, shoes and similar items. Bodily fluids and excretions, and anything illegal, are strictly prohibited.

How many listings can I have?

Free-tier sellers can keep a set number of active listings; Premium members and higher-level sellers can list without that cap. Check your seller console for your current limit.

How do I make my listings stand out?

Use clear original photos, write accurate descriptions, keep response times fast, complete Proof of Wear consistently, and consider a featured boost. Earning the Verified Wear badge also improves your ranking.

KYC & Verification

Why do I need to verify my identity?

Verification confirms you are an adult and helps keep the marketplace free of fraud. Sellers must reach at least Tier 2 before publishing any listing.

What are the verification tiers?

Tier 1: email and phone. Tier 2: government ID, age confirmed. Tier 3: ID plus selfie liveness. Tier 4: Tier 3 plus proof of address and manual review, which unlocks the Premium Verified badge.

Is my ID document safe?

Yes. Verification is handled by our partner TrustVerifyID. AfterWorn stores only the submission identifier and your resulting tier — your ID documents are never stored on AfterWorn systems.

Payments

How does AfterWorn protect my payment?

When a buyer pays, the money is held securely by the Platform rather than sent straight to the seller. It is only released once the order is complete — protecting buyers from non-delivery and sellers from non-payment.

What payment methods can I use?

Payments are processed securely on-platform, supporting both fiat currencies and crypto. Always pay within AfterWorn — never directly to a seller.

What commission does AfterWorn charge?

10% of the gross sale on the free tier, reduced to 5% for Premium Seller members. Payment processing fees are already included in that commission.

Proof of Wear

What is Proof of Wear?

It is a step where the seller submits a photo or short video of the worn item alongside the order code, confirming the item is genuine and matches the listing.

When is Proof of Wear required?

It is mandatory for orders of USD 50 or more, for newer sellers with limited reviews, or any time a buyer requests it at checkout. It is optional otherwise.

What happens after the seller submits POW?

AI moderation checks the media (order-code OCR, EXIF stripping, duplicate and stock-photo checks). The buyer then has a window to approve or reject; if no action is taken, it auto-approves. Where POW is required, the shipping address is revealed only after approval.

Disputes

How do I open a dispute?

Open a dispute from the order page if an item never arrives or is materially not as described. The Platform keeps the funds protected while the dispute is reviewed.

How are disputes resolved?

AfterWorn reviews evidence from both parties — messages, Proof of Wear, tracking and photos — and decides on a fair outcome: releasing the payment to the seller, refunding the buyer fully or partially, or another resolution. Decisions are final within the Platform.

How can I avoid disputes?

Sellers: describe items accurately, photograph the packaged parcel, use tracked shipping and ship on time. Buyers: read listings carefully, ask questions before ordering, and keep all communication on-platform.

Payouts & Wallet

When do I get paid as a seller?

When an order is completed, your earnings (after commission) move into your wallet. Release is instant for Premium members and after a 7-day cooldown for free-tier sellers.

How do I withdraw my balance?

Request a payout from your wallet. Payouts are subject to your KYC tier, minimum thresholds and a routine anti-fraud review. Payouts above USD 500 per month require Tier 3 verification.

Can I top up my wallet as a buyer?

Yes. You can deposit funds into your wallet, and top-ups may include a bonus. A wallet balance makes checkout faster.

Membership

What does Premium Seller membership include?

Premium Seller membership (USD 14.99/month, or USD 79 per six months) cuts commission from 10% to 5%, enables instant payout release, removes the listing cap and unlocks boosts. For active sellers, the commission saving usually outweighs the fee.

Is there a membership for buyers?

Yes — Premium Buyer membership adds benefits such as unlimited messaging and a hidden buyer mode.

Can I cancel my membership?

Yes. You can cancel from your settings at any time; membership remains active until the end of the current billing period.

Account & Privacy

How is my privacy protected?

Identities are masked between users, orders ship in plain unbranded packaging, sensitive data is encrypted, and you can hide your profile from search engines. See the Privacy Policy for full detail. Privacy Policy.

How do I block or report someone?

Use the Report option on any listing, profile or message, and use Block to stop a user from contacting you. Blocking is mutual and silent; reports are confidential.

Can I download my data or delete my account?

Yes. A self-service data export is available at /me/gdpr/export. Account deletion can be requested from settings and includes a 30-day grace period before personal data is scrubbed.

I forgot my password — what do I do?

Use the password reset link on the sign-in page. For added security, we recommend enabling two-factor authentication in your settings.
